My name is Robert Berger and I was born on January 4, 1954. I was born in Lonpoc, California but I was raised in Long Island. My family consists of my mom Janette, my dad Morris and my two sisters. Both of my parents were friendly people who taught their kids morals and how to distinguish right from wrong. They got divorced in the 60's when I was about ten years old. My father was in the army, so we traveled a lot. We lived in Missouri, Baltimore and Japan. I liked Japan the best because of the Japanese maids. I never got married or worried about being single. I celebrate the holidays to the fullest. Throughout my life I have learned many things such as; not go to extremes but to be moderate. To take a day at a time and realize that the hard times will pass and things will change for the better. There are two things I would like future generations to remember. First, don't forget the past. If you don't remember the past you are doomed to repeat it. Second, do the best you can in life.
