We have recently partnered with Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. Our short-term rehabilitation department is staffed by Burke specialty care professionals who will follow customized personal treatment plans every step of the way. Our goal is to help clients and residents return to an active and independent lifestyle within the community. Each individualized plan is designed with the assistance of the nationally-renowned Burke Rehabilitation staff and the outstanding UHGC professionals working together for your recovery.

Take a look at some of the highlights of the Burke Advantage Program at UHGC:

• The program is managed and staffed by a personal care team of nationally-renowned Burke Rehabilitation therapists and outstanding UHGC professionals.
• Daily consultation with a physician available
• As part of the UHGC’s Consistency of Care philosophy, dedicated nurses and rehabilitation team of full time staff deliver daily treatment plans.
• The Rehab Department is accessible to you and your family so you can be part of the vital recovery process.
• A personal consultation on alternative housing options is available.

• Physical, occupational, and speech therapy
• Orthopedic, stroke, cardiac and wound care
• Post-amputation care
• Multi-disciplinary approach
• Social services/discharge planning
• Personalized treatment plan

Who is eligible?

UHGC’s resources are rich and varied. We welcome anyone who requires our special brand of nurturing care. We are Medicare and Medicaid certified. We also accept HMOs and private insurances, including long-term care insurance.
