Overview of the Campaign for the 21st CenturyWe are dedicated to meeting the growing demand of the senior population and to continue to provide the competitive quality and innovative services that our families depend upon. We recently broke ground on the renovation and modernization of the Lola and Saul Kramer Pavilion and began the construction of the Lucile and Joseph Skalet Pavilion. This $56 million renovation and construction project will propel UHGC into the future with a state-of-the-art nursing facility to better serve the senior population of Westchester County and the neighboring areas. This project reflects our dedication to caring for our seniors, their changing needs, and to providing the most appropriate types of programs and services. We are proud to announce that the Campaign for the 21st Century was recently awarded a $1,500,000 challenge grant from the nationally renowned Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. UHGC must raise matching gifts of $1,500,000 to take full advantage of the Weinberg Foundation’s generosity. This means that the value of every donation made toward our Campaign before July 2009 will be doubled. With this “gold seal of approval” from a foundation so highly regarded in the philanthropic arena, we have much to be proud of. Pavilion FeaturesWe are proud to present these unique and innovative features in our new world-class nursing facility:
Naming OpportunitiesThere are many ways for you to perpetuate the honor of a family name, the good works of an individual, or the memory of a loved one:
The Skalet Pavilion offers many opportunities for naming a room, a center or a special place of honor. Please contact Grace Ferri, Director of Development, at (914) 632-2804, x190 to discuss.
